As communities across the country organize to increase literacy rates across the life span, they have turned to the National Center for Family Literacy for assistance in:
- Needs assessments
- Communitywide planning to improve literacy outcomes
- Information on the literacy problem
- Program startup and development
- Training and technical assistance to improve quality
- Resources for parents, teachers, program coordinators and community leaders
With funding from The UPS Foundation and Verizon, NCFL has developed tools to assist communities as they work to create literate nation. As new, free tools are developed, they will be posted to this site.
