Kentucky Family Literacy Resource Center

Welcome to the Kentucky Family Literacy Resource Center.  Our mission is to support the field of family literacy in Kentucky by providing them access to high quality print and online materials.

We currently hold more than 1,600 titles in the areas of family literacy, reading instruction, adult education, early childhood education, parenting education, English as a second language (ESL), and working with at-risk populations.  The collection contains a mix of theoretical and practical materials, with an emphasis on items that will help classroom instructors with hands-on curriculum and activities.

Materials can be checked out by any literacy professionals in Kentucky.  (Sorry, we can't loan books to practitioners in other states).

If you are a resident of Kentucky working in the field of literacy and would like to sign up for borrowing privileges, click Register (Currently unavailable, please call below to sign up for privileges).  Once you have been assigned an identification number, you may request materials by clicking Request Materials during your search.  Materials will be mailed free of charge for a lending period of four weeks.
