Adult students in family literacy programs should be encouraged to set educational goals beyond the GED® certificate or high school diploma. Skills gained in postsecondary education programs can lead to better paying jobs and, ultimately, to the better life students dream of for their families. This half-day session will highlight NCFL’s Family Literacy-Community College Partnership Initiative and high-quality tools that programs can use to successfully support students transitioning to post-secondary education. Participate in the discussion and share ideas on this hot topic. (Early Registration: $100; After March 4th: $140)

In this one-day session a number of models and options for both managed intake and managed enrollment will be presented along with adaptations describing how to fit them to your program and students.
